ACC Network Launch Week: ACCN Flips the Switch at 7 p.m. August 22

On Thursday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. ET, sports fans nationwide will be introduced to ACC Network (ACCN), the new, 24/7 national platform dedicated to ACC sports. The network will debut its flagship news and information show All ACC with special guests and coverage from across the league. Notable head coaches, on-air personalities and ACC alums will be showcased in the two-hour special sharing the passion, history, innovation and excellence of the ACC. Additionally, The Class That Saved Coach K will premiere immediately afterwards, with The Huddle: Launch Special also airing that first night.

Kelsey Riggs, Jac Collinsworth, Jordan Cornette and Dalen Cuff will co-host the show featuring a wide-range of sports coverage, a host of ACCN experts, previews of original programming, behind-the-scenes access and live look-ins at the action on ACC campuses.

Viewers can watch the ACC Network launch on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPNEWS beginning at 7 p.m., on August 22.

Following All ACC, The Class that Saved Coach K will debut at 9 p.m. This 90-minute documentary tells the story of Duke basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski and his 1982 recruiting class that, over four years, would overcome a bumpy start to change the narrative – turning the Blue Devils around and setting its coach on a historic course. Members of that class, including Mark Alarie, Jay Bilas, Johnny Dawkins and David Henderson, along with the Hall of Fame coach, recall the extraordinary beginning of Duke’s journey to becoming college basketball’s gold standard. Bonus content, including stories and conversations during an intimate dinner hosted by Coach K with members of the 1986 team, will be featured in a 30-minute special An Evening With The Class That Saved Coach K that will immediately follow the film.

A special 30-minute edition of The Huddle, ACCN’s signature football show, will air at 11 p.m. on launch night. The Huddle: Launch Special will set the stage for what viewers can expect from host Jac Collinsworth and analysts Eric Mac Lain, EJ Manuel and Mark Richt this upcoming football season. The quartet will be back on Friday, Aug. 23 at 8 p.m., for The Huddle: Season Preview – a two-hour show featuring an all-encompassing preview of ACC football.
